Commitments to Action presented at the CGI annual meeting must be new in order to qualify, must be specific in the approach to the problem and have definable objectives for addressing the problems as well as a clearly defined timeline and well-articulated desired outcome. It must also be measurable so Clinton Global Initiative can evaluate the effectiveness or impact of the action.
Since 2005, when the initiative first convened, there have been more than 3,600 Commitments to Action made that are currently improving approximately 435 million lives in 180 countries.
