Sugar Bowl Private Jet Charter
Fly to the 83rd Sugar Bowl, officially the Allstate Sugar Bowl, by corporate jet charter and enjoy a relaxing and luxurious travel experience to New Orleans where the game will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Sugar Bowl is set to take place on January 1, 2018 and is among the oldest of all bowl games – tied for second along the Orange Bowl and Sun Bowl games and behind the Rose Bowl, which is the oldest Bowl game.
Sugar Bowl History
Since 1935 the Sugar Bowl has been a tradition in college football – one that has heavily represented the SEC throughout the years, though it isn’t exclusively set up to do so. The Michigan and Virginia Tech game of 2012 is one example of a year when the SEC was not represented in the Sugar Bowl.
More recently, however, the decision was made to make the Sugar Bowl a game between the champions of the SEC and Big 12 – unless one of those teams is competing for a national semi-final. In that event, another team from the conference will take the place of the team playing for the national semi-final. The Sugar Bowl has always been held in New Orleans, first at Tulane Stadium and later at the Superdome, except for the 2006 game when the Superdome was under repair in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina.
