About the Event: The U.S. Open Tennis Tournament is the only Grand Slam Tennis Tournament played in the United States. The game is played every fall in Arthur Ashe Stadium, the largest tennis-specific stadium in the world and part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament was first played in 1881.
